Had not been here for about a year. Margaritas still good, but now even the chips are not that great. Disappointing!

I love the chicken chimmi. Wish they had a better salsa. Always friendly. Chips don't taste fresh.

best here at the lake. the salsa and chips are wonderful along with the spinach and chicken chimi, chicken wings are the best down here and most things on the menu.

Of all the mexican places at the Lake this is my least favorite, although they do have great strawberry margaritas. It is pretty expensive for what you get.

Also, try to avoid sitting in the bar area. Last time we went, four of us sat at a booth by the bar and the bar was full and the servers had to walk by us the people at the bar EVERY TIME they had to go to the waitress station and kitchen to get food. At one point the server "got onto my friend" for her smoking being in the way of her walking through there (and we WERE in the smoking section).

We have been going to Vista Grande for years. Lately not impressed with the food. Good chips and margarittas.

I wish this place would have frequent diner cards. "Locals' deserve a break for dealing with the tourists and extra traffic. Also, locals keep the businesses going during the off-season times. Please get the frequent diner cards!

I've been going to vista for 6 years since I lived at the lake and I have always had the same servers. The food is good, the chips and margaritas are awesome. Go early so you don't have to wait in line!

Love the chips and salsa and drinks at Vista. I have eaten there numerous times and have never been impressed with my meal. Fun environment, but I would only suggest going for happy hour and drinks. Skip the meal.

Generally speaking, a usually good choice for Mexican food. The Taco Salad at lunch time is very good and reasonable. Best chips and salsa at the lake.
