Regulatory Policy

  1. One review per user per business will be accepted. Exceptions may exist to this policy if:
    • a. User visits a business a second time and finds the experience to be different from the previous visit.
    • b. The type of business is one that users may visit regularly, such as restaurants. However, if reviews are too frequent and very similar, they may not be posted.


  2. Only one log-in per user will be permitted. If it is suspected that a user has multiple log-ins registered, both log-ins will be barred from the site.


  3. Reviews must be based upon actual, personal experience. Comments such as “I heard from a friend…” will not be permitted. Comments such as “Good” or “Love the place” are not considered reviews. These comments may be posted, but will not be eligible for points. Although the points will automatically appear in the user’s account upon submission, they will be deleted during the approval process. Once a comment such as this is posted, subsequent comments will be subject to policy #1.


  4. Reviews that are considered malicious, fraudulent, defamatory, unjustified, excessive or otherwise inappropriate will not be permitted. LOTOinfo.com may contact the user to request a re-write of the review to comply with policy so that the review may be posted.


  5. Reviews that appear to be a question to the business, the administrator, or other users will not be considered a review, and will not be posted.


  6. Reviews submitted on a business that reference another business, or refer viewers to another business, will not be permitted.


  7. Reviews that contain advertising of any kind will not be permitted.


  8. Negative reviews will be posted as long as they comply with policy. LOTOinfo.com notifies businesses receiving negative reviews. In turn, businesses have the option of replying to the review under their business listing, or requesting removal from the directory. If a business requests removal from the directory, all reviews are deleted as well. However, users will retain the points earned for the review of the business after removal.

    A business may also contact us to request assistance with resolving an issue that has been brought to their attention via a negative review. In this case, we will contact the user submitting the review, and ask for permission to give the business the submitter's contact information. If the user refuses the business' attempt at problem resolution, then the negative review will be deleted, and any points earned for that review will be lost.


  9. In accordance with the terms and conditions of registration, any users that attempt to circumvent or exploit LOTOinfo.com’s Points/Rewards system will be subject to a loss of points or, at the discretion of LOTOinfo.com, be permanently barred from the site.
