LOTOinfo.com has a mission to provide Lake area residents and visitors a comprehensive, user-friendly on-line business directory, and a modern and convenient means of referring each other to businesses that provide exemplary service. Positive comments left by your customers will serve as a referral to others, setting your business apart from others accordingly.

Customers are invited to rate businesses with which they have experience on a scale from 1-5, with 5 meaning “Highly Recommended” and 1 meaning “Not Recommended.” In addition, they may leave comments regarding their experience for others to use in choosing a business to meet their needs.

All businesses within the directory are eligible to be rated and reviewed, whether they subscribe to the website or not.

Customers are required to register in order to rate or review a business. All review comments will be monitored by the website administrator. LOTOinfo.com reserves the right to edit, modify or refuse to post comments that are deemed fraudulent, defamatory, malicious, unjustified, or otherwise inappropriate. Business owners understand that a complaint is an opportunity to gain a loyal customer. To this end, LOTOinfo.com offers a Problem Resolution process. Customers will be encouraged to pursue a resolution of their issue with a business before posting a negative review or comment. When we are notified that a customer wishes to pursue a resolution, LOTOinfo.com will notify the business of the request, and supply the customer’s information including name, telephone number and/or e-mail address, and the nature of their complaint.

Although Problem Resolution is encouraged, LOTOinfo.com understands that businesses are often unaware that a customer is unhappy. As part of our commitment to the community, LOTOinfo.com will notify businesses of reviews left by unsatisfied customers. A business may then exercise its options of replying to the review, or requesting complete removal of the business listing from the directory.

If a customer posts a review/comment to which the business wishes to repond, LOTOinfo.com offers the option to “reply” to that comment. Only one review/comment may be posted by the customer for a particular business, and only one reply may be posted by the business in regard to that customer. Although LOTOinfo.com will notify a business of some reviews, it is ultimately the responsibility of the business to review comments to determine if they wish to post a reply.

If a business receives a review regarding an issue of which they were not aware, and would like to resolve the issue with the customer, they may contact LOTOinfo.com. LOTOinfo.com will contact the user and request permission to provide their information to the business. If they refuse the business' attempt at resolution, then their negative review will not be posted.

If LOTOinfo.com receives a comment submission that seems fraudulent, defamatory, malicious or unjustified, LOTOinfo.com will refuse to post the comment and return it to the sender. Depending upon the nature of the comment, LOTOinfo.com may also notify the business.
