LOTOinfo.com COMES TO THE WORLD WIDE WEB


In mid-May, LOTOinfo.com entered the World Wide Web with a mission to provide lake area residents and visitors with an useful resource, and area businesses with a means to increase the benefits of word-of-mouth advertising. After only eight short weeks, two things are very clear: 1) everyone who is aware of LOTOinfo.com thinks it's a great idea, and 2) it takes time to develop an useful resource.

We appreciate the contributions you have made to the site, and encourage you to encourage others to contribute as well. While we are very pleased with the number of reviews and ratings submitted to date, there are more than 2,000 businesses listed on the site. The value of the information provided by reviews and ratings increases greatly when the number of reviews increases across the board.

This site will always be dependent on you and your contributions. We welcome any suggestions for improvements and enhancements, and will continue to look for ways to make the site useful and fun!

 Our newest feature is sure to appeal to those fishermen (and women) out there. Our weekly fishing report, provided by Jerry Adams, can be found by entering the business directory (at the top left-hand corner of any page), then selecting Fishing. The report not only tells you what's biting where, but also includes the technical stuff in the style that Jerry is so famous for. You really must check it out!
POINTS REDEMPTION AVAILABLE IN AUGUST HAVE YOU VISITED THE FORUM?
We know you've been submitting reviews in order to earn chances in the drawing for the computer. But while you've been doing so, you've also been earning points... lots of points. By the end of August, you'll be able to redeem those points for other free stuff - like discount certificates, gift cards, merchandise, etc. So keep earning those points, and remember that there are other ways to earn them, too, like referring a friend. Check out the FAQ page for more information. A few of you have discovered the Forum, and we appreciate your participation in that facet of the website as well. For those of you that have not been there yet, there are a few opportunities to engage in discussions on area topics.
