The rate of growth of the Lake of the Ozarks area is truly amazing...most of us can probably remember when Highway 54 was still only two lanes, and now we're hearing "bypass." Still, relatively speaking, we live in a small community (or at least a series of small communities). And with the high percentage of locally owned businesses in the Lake area, many of us do business regularly with people we know - friends, neighbors, relatives.

While the arrival of major chains might offer some welcome convenience, today's Lake of the Ozarks was founded, developed and nurtured by local business. Local business provides much of the unique character of the area, and without it, we might be considered just another small city.

NEW!!! - FISHING REPORT

Our newest feature is sure to appeal to those fishermen (and women) out there. The fishing report, provided by Jerry Adams, can be found by entering the business directory (at the top left-hand corner of any page), then selecting Fishing. The report not only tells you what's biting where, but also includes the technical stuff in the style that Jerry is so famous for. You really must check it out!

UPGRADE ON THE WAY

It seems as though LOTOinfo.com is only a couple of months old. What most people don't know is that it's been in development for nearly a year now. During this time, we have already determined some improvements that we would like to see, and have received some suggestions from users as well. While we can't confirm a specific date, you may anticipate an upgrade within the next few months. We remain committed to providing an easy-to-use resource that's both fun and useful, and will continue to work on upgrades and additional features.
