Wow! Where did the summer go? LOTOinfo.com is now nearly six months old, and it still feels like we’ve just begun. But from the statistics listed below, it’s obvious that LOTOinfo.com is catching on, and catching on fast.

We’ve been working on some updates to the website which will be beneficial to our users. First, anyone who registers on LOTOinfo.com will automatically be subscribed to the newsletter. Anyone not wishing to receive the newsletter can "unsubscribe" by going into "my account," then select "edit" and "my newsletters." From there you can uncheck the box for whichever newsletter you wish to unsubscribe and click "submit". Before you unsubscribe, however, you might consider the benefits of the newsletter.

The newsletter is the primary means of letting our registered users know about new features, promotions, surveys and polls. Future promotions will be announced in the newsletter prior to any other means of announcement, and some promotions will only be offered to registered users and notification will occur only through the newsletter.

Our second update is another reason to continue to receive the newsletter. We have heard from several users that it would be nice to know when new businesses are added. Once they have submitted reviews on all the companies with which they are familiar, it’s difficult to determine if/when new businesses have been added. To answer this request, we will be listing all businesses in the newsletter that have been added since the previous newsletter. As other categories are added, we will let you know that as well.

The technical issues did not affect all areas of the website, and we do not believe that any review submissions were lost during that time. You’ve heard us say it plenty of times… LOTOinfo.com has a mission to be of service to the community. For that reason, review submissions are previewed by administrators prior to posting. What are they looking for? They’re making sure that the reviews that are posted are useful and reliable.

It’s not always easy to tell just how reliable a review may be. But LOTOinfo.com’s regulatory policy was established to help provide guidance to users submitting reviews, and to the administrators publishing them, so that visitors looking for assistance can feel confident in the information that they find.

LOTOinfo.com’s regulatory policy can be viewed on the FAQ page, under the question "Are there any rules?".

LOTOinfo.com opened the LOTOInfo PointS store on August 31, and since that time has mailed more than eighty rewards. Have you received yours?

To earn rewards, all you have to do is tell us what you know about businesses in the Lake area. Write a review. Earn points. Redeem points for rewards. It’s that simple.
