I just Love Dempseys! Hidden away on Y Rd but worth the short Drive. Everything on the menu is great and the prices are very reasonable on all lunch and sandwiches. Not far past Big Surf on the Right hand side of the rd. Right by Donnas Ice House!

We went here to celebrate Mothers Day. The atmosphere was a little boring in the restaurant, but the food was good, they have the best escargot in town. They make it with a puff pastry, sooo good!

Brought several English friends last year and they loved it. This year, that's all they talked about in the restaurant catagory. Unfortunately, we went on a Tuesday and they were closed. They said "Next year". They, and I, love this place. Great food. Brian Busse continues the great tradition he started as chef at Osage National. And his place is perfect.

I love the different options with the top and bottom floors. They both offer completely different atmospheres for whatever mood you are in. Their menu could use a little variety, though.

I have tried to eat at Dempsey's but keep missing when it is open. Hope you have a frequent diner card like most of the other non-chains.

I would highly recommend Dempsey's. It is a fairly new establishment that is located down Y road - 1 mile past Big Surf. It has wonderful food and some of the nicest management in town. You can eat upstairs in a more formal setting or downstairs with the bar and fireplace. Same menu...just depends on your mood for the evening.
