Jerry Adams' Fishing ReportSubmitted by LOTOinfo on Sun, 16/07/2006 - 5:28pm.Fishing Report
May 12, 2007 Lake of the Ozarks, Truman and Pomme de Terre are hot. if you're wanting to go fishing, now is the time. On Lake of the Ozarks, everything is biting. Bass are hitting buzzbaits and spoooks in the morning and evening, football jigs in the heavier weights during the day and night. Spinnerbaits, 10inch power worms, and it seems just about anything you want to throw. Blue Gill are hitting good on wax worms, nightcrawlers and crickets, and Crappie are a little slow but can be caught in deeper water on jigs or minnows. If you want Cats, oh my, are they hitting. The Blues are hot, hot, hot - cut shad would be the bait of choice, anywhere in the river. We had 45 in 3 hours 2 weeks ago, close to the mouth of the Buffalo, all on cut shad. Truman is good on Hybirds, its that time of year, and live shad is the best bet. Some can be caught on topwater early. The Cat bite is on there, too, around KK Island would be a good place to be. Bass are hitting 10inch power worms and dd22 crankbaits, fish the tree rows or anything that's laying in the water. On Pomme sw Terre, Bass are hitting spinnerbaits, carolina rigs and split shot rigs. Any brush pile will put fish in the boat. Crappie are hitting good here on minnows and jigs, early try buzzbaits on the bluffs. Some good fish are coming off the bluff ends and points early. If you have farm ponds or know anyone who does, you can get well on just about anything you throw. S some big Bass and Crappie are coming off these ponds. It'ss time, folks... go now or forever miss your fish. God bless and fish hard . Jerry absoloutely love listening to the weekly report, trivia is awesome, and educational I look forward to listening to Jerry again. I love to listen to his radio show. He is very opinionated, but luckily his opinions are usually the same as mine. Keep up the good work. I look forward to listening to Jerry and J.R. on Saturday mornings. The service and entertainment that they provide to all of us listeners is great. The trivia is an added bonus. I would listen anyway. The Jerry Adams Show on sat. is a real treat. He always has something interesting to talk about Fishing reports, commentary, personality. He's got it all! My kids even love him! He's the salt of the earth! We enjoy your show on the radio. We learn a lot about the lake area and what is going on. Our kids like the trivia and Garage sale. |
