You can rely on the Clown to have good food, service and drinks. The one pool at the lake that is always CLEAN!

My kids are alway begging to go "The Clown" when we get near. The Carp are incredible, never knew they could get so big. Good place to enjoy a drink while the kids are swimming.

It's a tradition! Have been going to the Clown every summer since I was 9 or 10, and I'm now 43. There's nothing like trying to eat your burger while the dock is creaking and swaying and people coming in and out from their boats -- I LOVE IT!! And feeding the carp is the best. They practically jump up on the dock to get the food! My parents took me, then I took my kids, and this summer we'll take my grandson.

The food is the same. The setting is near the same. The carp seem to have gotten bigger. My kids prefer it.

the nose-docks, Or the slips @ the clown that you pull the nose of your boat in at, have need of repair as they gouged the crap out of the nose of my boat, & I JUST had new graphics done. I should have known better as these spots look incredibly run-down, & I sat there on sunday 9:30 am for almost 30 min waiting, wondering if they were even open...I'm going back to BUCK'S!!!You go where you want

I agree, this place is a lot of fun on a Sunday afternoon. You can listen to a band while drinking a cold one by the pool. I love to order the "Fish Bowl." Just make sure you have a sober driver because these drinks are very strong.

I agree, it was great to take the kids and they could swim in the pool while the adults had drinks and listened to the band. Perfect!

Absolutely the best place to take kids at the lake. Toss them in the swimming pool, order tall cool ones for you, and hamburgers, hotdogs, toasted ravioli for all. One time we ran into some St. Louis Rams there and they spent 45 minutes throwing nerf balls for the kids and playing with them.
