Panera BreadSubmitted by LOTOinfo on Sat, 01/04/2006 - 1:00am.Tea Rooms & Cafes
Expensive for what you get, but excellent food! Love the atmosphere! The broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl is my favorite, service is always top notch! I love the Lake Panera! The restaurant is clean and the food is always good. I wish it were a little larger, but that doesn't keep me away. The baked goods and the food are always good to me. My favorite roll is the cream cheese bear claw. They have a good selection of sandwiches that are different from most. I also appreciate how they support different charitable organizations in the lake area. food is always great. kids love the broccoli/cheddar soup. This is a place that has fast service and great food. I especially like their broccoli cheddar soup. Their bagels are fantastic. one of my favorite places to eat however can be expensive try the panini's good food - a little pricey for a whole meal. Great desserts. This place is flat out fantastic. I even give their gift certificates as presents now and again. I wish they'd go by St. Louis Bread Co. everywhere, though. That would make Stl proud. Love this place. It is a unique place to eat. There are so many things to choose from. The service is great too. My favorite place to eat out. The food is all so flavorful. We get bagels there everytime we go to the lake We love to pick up bagels in the morning for a quick breakfast when we have guest but they need more help so you do not have to wait so long. The soup and sandwiches are great too. Great soups for a cool winter day. A little pricey, but great food for a lunch out of the office. We used Panera for a work event, bagels were prepared and cut, with cream cheese ready. Everyone loved it! Great quality, great price!! All of the food: sandwiches, bagels, muffins, etc. is great. The service is slow at times & they should have more than one person waiting on customers on Sundays. Most people don't want to wait in line 10 minutes. I love their bagels! It was the place for coffee before Starbucks arrived. A great treat! Great sandwiches and soups. Not recommended during the noon hour - get flooded by folks on their lunch breaks. Sometimes they run out of seating. Good service - quick and friendly. Bagels and coffee are great! My only complaint is it is sort of crowded and confusing when you are in there with a crowd and you are ordering. People are everywhere and don't know where to stand or what to do after and before they order Panera is one of my favorite places to go in the winter. I love the "you pick 2" with turkey sandwich and french onion soup. They also have awesome cinnamon crunch bagels. Soup, sandwich and dessert. Excellent! Great bagels bakers dozen is wonderful Not bad for a light snack, but you pay for a whole meal and get a side salad. My husband and I went there a couple of weeks ago. We paid $30.00 and we were still hungry. Our salads were tiny and they weren't even what we ordered. They have a huge selection of bagels and I have to be honest I have only tried the cinnamon bagels, and they are AWESOME. I am going to make myself try another kind one of these times. I like going here when I need a break from "fast food." There is a great selection of food choices on the menu. Therefore, a person can still eat a healthy meal away from home. On at least three occasions I have taken my wife and daughter there for lunch during the week days, between 12:30pm and 1:30pm, and they were out of bread bowls for soup! |
