I thing you can get much better for your money. Needs an update!

I was disappointed in our recent stay at Tan Tar A. The room we had, had obviously not been updated in 20 years. The television remote didn't work, the room was very dated.

we recently returned from a thursday friday stay, and once again, my family loves this place. My husband loves the golf. my daughter loves everything from the bowling, pool, playground and food. it really is a realistic and affordable get away for us, and i plan on returning at winter for the indoor water park experience again.

i have been to tan tar a numerous times over the years, i have stayed in the motel and the cabins and both were equally nice. i enjoyed the outdoor pool with slide and the view over the lake. during the winter the indoor water park was my daughters favorite, Would love to find the time to go horseback riding and bowling next time i am there

I have been to Tan-Tar-A several times over the years. For the cost of a room, it would be nice if they would update into the 21st century. '70s motif needs to go. There is a ton to do, but it will cost you an arm and a leg!

I just went with my best friend to book her wedding reception. The staff was great, rooms beautiful and food excellent. There prices were very competitive with the competition. But the Crystal Ballroom won us over!

I have always enjoyed the conferences they host. Beautiful setting and exceptional service. I wish they would have kept the ice skating, but the kids love the waterpark.

Just a fantastic place to get away for a week. Once you are there, you have no need to leave because of all the options for entertainment they offer. They really take care of the place.

It is a place that has everything from beautiful golf courses, swimming pools, indoor water park, fabulous restaurants and a fantastic place for a wedding reception. The staff is very cordial and helpful in many ways.

This place is very beautiful and the decorations are great. Really nice staff. The place is really relaxing. There are so many things to do also. Of course it's not a budget place. Worth every penny though.

TanTarA decorates so nicely for the holidays each year. Be sure to drive through. Walk through the shops. It will put you in the holiday spirit.

If it's fun you are looking for, then you have it all in one location! The Resort of Tan-Tar-A offers fun for any member of the family. The golf is great for the golfers in the family, there's a great spa for your relaxation time and the waterpark is remarkable! I see nothing but smiles when I have walked into the waterpark! It's a vacation within a vacation!

We usually prefer small family owned resort, so this was different but it was really nice. Staff was very helpful when we got locked out on the deck at 2:00 a.m.! Horse ride was so much fun! No complaints about anything.

Beautiful resort! My husband and I got married there in the fall six years ago. Our wedding was outside overlooking the lake. We still have people come up to us and say it was the prettiest wedding they have ever seen. Tan-Tar-A is also a great place to bring the entire family for a vacation or just a romantic weekend getaway for two. There are many fun activities on the property for you to enjoy. Just remember to pack comfortable shoes.
